History

The founder, of Management Solutions Software LLC, Paul Van Geel gained an interest in programming in 1969 but left the profession until 1984 when he found that many of the computer firms did not understand how a business worked. To get what was needed for his business he had to do it himself and found that he enjoyed it. With the experience he acquired from owning a retail store and photography studio, and working in inventory control at another company, he started Computer Aided Management Systems, Inc. (CAMS). CAMS, which is known for it's product CAMS Retail Jeweler, has now evolved into Management Solutions Software LLC which expands beyond retail jewelers to provide custom solutions that answer the needs of business managers with desktop and web based applications, consulting, Internet cloud and hosting services.

Our customers include manufacturers, welding shops, tubing benders, casting companies, insurance agencies and financial service firms. We have written accounting, inventory control and ordering with just in time delivery (JIT) setup, quoting, customer tracking, point of sale systems and annuity fund mangement programs.

Future

Management Solutions Software LLC is a problem solving company. As we look to the future we will continue to be problem solvers. The internet has now matured and is capable of hosting full applications. To this end our firm is active in developing, customizing and hosting web based applications for point of sale, inventory control, health care and customer relations management in addition to our continuing updating and support of our CAMS Retail Jeweler® program.
